CALL and language learning have become complex and are accelerated with the arrival of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools. The book traces the history of CALL from its earliest behavioural iterations through to contemporary GenAI applications and covers technologies such as MOOCs, Augmented Realities and Digital Games Based Language Learning.
