Angus is the seventh son in a family of ten boys, no - no girls, from working class parents (code for poor) who instilled in him principles of social justice. A high school dropout he eventually graduated from Notre Dame, Indiana, worked in the war on poverty in Texas, and served as a Public Participation Officer for a special NATO environmental project in New Brunswick, Canada and has worked extensively with Aboriginal people (Status Indians, Metis and Inuit) across Canada.
