From the innovation in the research projects, it is intended the improvement of the learning of problem solving in the twelfth grade; with the purpose of guaranteeing the access to the university passing with quality. The educational social practice in contrast with the ideal social model of Pre-university Education, shows insufficiencies in the instructive, educational, developmental and control functions of the problems. The following are proposed: concept of problem as specific ability, generalized ability and capacity and its solution technique, as well as proposal of actions and didactic considerations to contribute to the development of capacities in the resolution of mathematical problems. Whose generalization impacted positively in the general integral culture and Mathematics.
