A New Theory on Fermentation. 92 pp + 2 folding copperplates. 4th edition 1753. Part 3 Optics. 86 pages with 6 folding copperplates, 4th edition 1759. Parts on and two page numbers are a continuation, part 3 is numbers pages 1-86. Bound in full mottled calf, gilt titles embossed on the spine, 5 half-raised bands, some wear at edges and edges of the spine, name of "ex-libris J Goodman, college .1784 Oxon" on FFEP and inside front board, "Richard's Library Oxford".
