Über die Autorinnen und Autoren: Amanda Moore McBride is the Morris Endowed Dean and a professor at the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver and adviser to the university's innovation and entrepreneurship initiative, Project X-ITE. Prior to 2016, McBride was the Bettie Bofinger Brown associate professor at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work and the founding executive director of the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement, Washington University, in St. Louis.

Eric Mlyn is a distinguished faculty fellow at the Kenan Institute for Ethics and a lecturer at the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University. He is the founding director of DukeEngage and led that program until July 2019.
