Three pages at the rear give various opinions of the work: 'The work deals with the theme of Kiratarjuneya, the famous Sanskrit literary work.' ' The author is a great Sanskrit scholar and is thoroughly imbued with Sanskrit scholarship and knowledge . in truth this is a great modern sanskrit literary work written in English. episodes of both the Ramayana and the Mahabaratha have been used in combination with the story.' The author states in the TLS that the work is intended to relieve the modern mind from an obsession with the path of Nivritti expounded in the Upanishads. Handwritten on the first page: 'Imprisoned Ray' Dedicated to The Holy Feet of Desikendra Sree Sree Chandrashekhara Bharati Swamigalavaru Sringeri. Permission graciously accorded on 7-2-1950. The shipping prices quoted on ABEBooks reflect what we have found to be the "average book". Of course in reality there are many books that do not weigh what an "average book" weighs so there are times when we need to requote shipping, just as there are times when we are in position to refund some of the shipping. Please rest assured we try to get your order to you for a reasonable price, as quickly and as well packed (we carefully pack all of our parcels in book boxes) as possible.
