In good condition. Personally bound in modern library binding by Clifford Truesdell (more below). Text block is in good condition with no markings and light toning. Title pages have wear and some are chipped. Binding tight and intact. A solid book. Please see photos. Our book was owned and bound by Clifford Truesdell who was an American mathematician, natural philosopher, and historian of science. Truesdell was awarded numerous medals like The Euler Medal of the USSR Academy of Sciences and The Birkhoff Prize of the American Mathematical Society in 1978. Truesdell taught at Indian University from 1950-61, where his students included James Serrin, Jerald Ericksen and Walter Noll.
