Single folio size volume consisting of 69 fine French furniture and cabinetry plates, some in color, from 7 separate titles, the majority from the 'Nouveau traité théorique et pratique de l'Ebénisterie d'après Roubo'. The first title consists of 34 plates, not consecutive, beginning with plate 2, titled "Nouveau Supplement Roubo, Parfumerie, (Art Nouveau)". This color plate shows a lovely Art Nouveau design of floor to ceiling cabinetry and glass cases for a perfume counter in a large department store. The second title, Supplements A La Menuiserie Moderne, consists of 6 color plates of ornate exterior gates, single doors, staircases, and bay window treatments. The third title, Extrait du Recueil de Menuiserie Pratique, consist of 1 plate, No. 30, an entry door "Porte d'Entree, with cuts. The 4th & 5th titles are unidentified: they consists of color plates each, showing dressing tables, side tables, framed standing mirrors, elaborate etageres. The 6th title, unidentified, consists of 5 b&w plates of soffits and profiles. The 7th title consists of 18 b&w plates from 'Recueil de Meubles Simples', and includes Louis XV style mirrored armoire, bed & side table, and buffet; and "genre moderne" buffet, dresser & table, armoire simple, large office cabinet, "lavabos toilettes", and details of plates. Half blue leather and dark blue buckram boards, gilt title at spine. Spine ends rubbed and split; internally the first plate slightly dusty, the others bright and clean.
