5 volumes with copper portrait engraved frontis to volume one, CCxxviii page intro + 488 pages with 5 fold-out diagrammtical mathematical plates volumes 2-5 have a total of 1007 pages with several leaves mis-numbered or extra as the printer made errors. Plain 19th century pebble cloth uncut edges, gilt titles on spine all very plain. Some wear to boards and some foxing at edges and prelims and also at the back few leaves of some of the volumes. There is a library bookplate for "The Wesleyan Theological Institution, Didsbury" to each volume. Complete early set but only good condition or better on hand-made paper. Octavo (5). 1819.
