Most Chinese text within the cartoons is in traditional Chinese characters. Pages a little undulated, ex library "People's Daily Library Collection" stamp on title page and introduction, library sticker extending from spine onto covers, paperback covers worn, spine chipped and a small section of upper cover paper abraded. Text and cartoons are all clear and crisp. 21.5 x 15.3cm. This is a collection of some of the satirical cartoons that appeared in the press expressing indignation of the Chinese people against American aggression in Korea and Taiwan, and the conviction of the Chinese people that they had the strength to defeat this aggression.
