Aquatint by Legrand showing an elegant Parisian woman wrapped in a cloak or fur stole, leaning on one hand, either enjoying an aperitif or perhaps singing. Printed signature with the initials LL at the lower right. Legrand (1863 - 1951), worked in Paris during the Belle Epoque as an illustrator for weekly magazines and as an apprentice to the Belgian artist Félicien Rops.
