Zustand: Wie Neu. Zustandsbeschreibung: leichte Lagerspuren. By William Abbott Oldfather, Howard Vernon Canter and Kenneth Morgan Abbott. With the assistance of friends and students and in completion of the task inaugurated by M. N. Wetmore and A. M. Dame. Based on the edition by L. C. Purser in Ocford Classical Texts 1901-1903. Reprint der Ausgabe Urbana, Illinois 1938. From the Preface: "The present work is a critical index [.]. That is, until our texts can be regarded as finally established, and our knowledge of Latin forms, syntax, and palaeography as complete, we feel that the variants and even the corruptions in the manuscripts should be made as readily available to scholars as are the judgements of editors upon the text. Hence we have attempted to report the entire body of critical material upon which the text is constituted in the dition that we have followed, making record of the authenticity of all entries [.]. Two considerable bodies of material in the "Letters" are not included in this volume. They are the proper nouns, and the Greek words". 583 Seiten, Leinen (Olms Verlag 1988). Statt EUR 99,80.
