The earliest volume is in paper wraps, with losses of paper to the back strip, and significant rubbing to wraps. Rear hinge of 1863 volume strained, but firmly held. Hinges of 1868 volume strained, but firmly held. Clamshell fine. Internally, 1852 volume strained throughout, with remaining volumes lightly strained.
