Originally built in the 1700s by Aynaroz monks, it fell to ruin in the 20th century but was restored over a 2-year period by the Dincer family into both a home and museum. This beautifully-presented book includes photos of the monsatery in ruined and restored condition, images of the island and surrounding area, essays, and an interview with Susan Sabanci Dincer.
