Und weil diese Bauten bei vielen Laubenvogel-Arten in einem gemeinsamen Areal liegen, präsentieren sich die Männchen den Weibchen wie auf einer Bühne. Es gibt zwanzig Laubenvogel-Arten und alle leben in Australien bzw. auf Neuguinea.
