Tiene publicados numerosos artículos de crítica literaria en diversas revi…stas de España y los Estados Unidos y entre sus publicaciones se encuentra su libro, Temas y técnicas en la narrativa de Jesús Fernández Santos (Madrid, Gredos, 1984). En la actualidad sus ensayos se centran sobre las novelistas contemporáneas y ha publicado una edición crítica de Caza menor de Elena Soriano (Madrid, Castalia, 1992). Recientemente la autora ha comenzado a publicar cuentos. Cinco figuras en torno a la novela de posguerra: Galvarriato, Soriano, Fórmica, Boixadós y Aldecoa demuestra que existe más novelistas contemporáneas de las que son generalmente incluidas en los estudios de la posguerra. Las cinco escritoras en este ensayo no sólo merecen ser estudiadas por el valor de sus obras publicadas durante esa época, sino que todas ellas han vuelto a escribir en estos últimos años demostrando que siguen fieles a su vocación literaria. Cada una refleja en sus obras una ideología diferente marcada por circunstancias tan particulares como el exilio fuera de España en el caso de María Dolores Boixadós, el exilio interior en el de Elena Soriano o el apoyo del régimen franquista con Mercedes Fórmica. Sus temas abarcan desde los valores tradicionales evidentes en las obras de Eulalia Galvarriato hasta el concepto liberado de las de Josefina Aldecoa. Las entrevistas que preceden al estudio de las obras de estas cinco figuras captan estas voces manifestando sus preocupaciones acerca de la situación de la mujer como escritora y en respecto a los papeles femeninos representados en sus novelas. La metodología utilizada en el análisis de las obras es ecléctica en su teoría y práctica puesto que un acercamiento pluralista es el que mejor se presta a las divergencias de estos textos. Aunque el acercamiento a su estudio sea básicamente feminista, tampoco se trata de sugerir que estas escritoras, sólo por ser mujeres, tengan similares características en su literatura. La crítica feminista desarrollada en este ensayo no sigue, pues, una metodología única ni un modelo conceptual, sino que usa teorías tan dispares como la interpretación psicológica o la arquetípica aportando aspectos originales a la hermenéutica del texto.
