A section of the leather (c 35 x 15 mm) at the tail of the spine - (i.e. that below the lowest band) - is missing; and some of the backfill material is showing. See main photo. The corner edges are also bumped and rubbed. There is a nameplate on the front pastedown and some writing on the ffep. Tanning (and foxing) ranges from mild to moderate generally but is more pronounced on the preliminary and final pages.
