Pages 1-39 are the History and pages 40-76 are "Paper: a Brief Account of How it is Made" by Joseph T. Alling. NOT ex-library. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Covers have a few light smudges and some soiling to the bottom edge. Back cover has some indentations and a short scratch. The sepia background of the illustrations has transferred to the opposite pages somewhat. Plain, thin paper dust jacket with no title or other labels is present but is soiled and has a few tears to the back panel. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
