The book itself with fold out plates with black buckram binding and gilt lettering is in very good/near fine condition as are the plates themselves. The pamphlet is a little aged around edges otherwise very good. An excellent copy with an interesting provenance having been in Burma during World war 2.

The internal metal coil binding is clean and even, the gray cloth cover showing surface wear to spine sides, joints, spine ends, and corners, as well as three short white streaks on the front and a patch of pale spotting at the left rear, and general dimming to the gilt titles at front and spine, otherwise sound.
