Zustand: Good. 0. Cm. 14, pp. 143 (1). Bel marchio tipografico al frontespizio e alcuni capilettera xilografici. Legatura strettamente coeva in pergamena molle con tagli colorati. Carta di guardia finale assente. Due piccole mancanze di pergamena al dorso e qualche sporadica fioritura. Esemplare nel complesso genuino e ben conservato. Celebre ensemble di due importanti dissertazioni dedicate al ruolo dei magistrati nell'antica Roma. La prima è attribuibile al giurista fiorentino Andrea Domenico Fiocco (?-1458), pubblicata originariamente a Milano nel 1477 sotto lo pseudonimo di Lucio Fenestella. Il secondo trattato si deve all'umanista Pomponio Leto (1428-1497). I magistrati nell'antica Roma erano funzionari pubblici eletti, titolari del potere amministrativo, giudiziario e militare, operanti secondo i principi di elettività, gratuità e collegialità.
