Carta di guardia finale assente. Due piccole mancanze di pergamena al dorso e qualche sporadica fioritura. Esemplare nel complesso genuino e ben conservato. Celebre ensemble di due importanti dissertazioni dedicate al ruolo dei magistrati nell'antica Roma. La prima è attribuibile al giurista fiorentino Andrea Domenico Fiocco (?-1458), pubblicata originariamente a Milano nel 1477 sotto lo pseudonimo di Lucio Fenestella. Il secondo trattato si deve all'umanista Pomponio Leto (1428-1497). I magistrati nell'antica Roma erano funzionari pubblici eletti, titolari del potere amministrativo, giudiziario e militare, operanti secondo i principi di elettività , gratuità e collegialità .
