Il Marro (Limone Piemonte, 1840-Torino, 1913) fu ben nota figura di psichiatra, criminologo, sociologo e filantropo. Assistente di Cesare Lombroso, il Marro lavorò a lungo prima al Carcere di Torino poi, dal 1885, al Regio Manicomio della stessa città. Fu padre di Giovanni Marro.
