Gold lettering on spine with bands and design are bright as is the gold lettering on the front cover. Light bumping, wear and fraying to corners and spine ends. Spine is slightly cocked. Light wear on…hinges and lower edges. Moderate shelf wear and soiling to back cover and spine with lighter shelf wear on the front cover. Light soiling and yellowing to page ends. The top edge of the ffep is torn off. There is a ticket glued to the ffep. Inside hinge are cracked but still attached. Light yellowing to text due to age. Otherwise clean and unmarked. 52 b&w illustrations. This includes full page illustrations of ships, also includes fold-out drawings showing diagrams of different ships. All are in very good condition. Chapters detailing the use of torpedoes, the whitehead torpedo, submarine boats, torpedo boats and much more.
