Spine features five heavy raised bands with intricate, brilliant gilt-tooled compartments and a contrasting black leather title label. CONDITION REPORT: A beautiful, characterful copy remaining in Very Good visual condition for library display. Gilt stamps on the cover and spine remain exceptionally bright and reflective. The calfskin shows generalized historical surface scuffs, minor edge thinning, and tiny handling scars, with a web of hairline aging cracks across the black title panel.
