The signed letter, on Dr. Proetz's stationery, mentions Dr. Coon's interest in the nose and has three paragraphs. Book is musty and has foxing at front and back; top edge has some soil and/or foxing; above the inscription is a stamp indicating that this book was not accessioned by a Harvard University library; binding has light soil and minor wear; tight, text clean. xxiv, 452 p., illustrated.
