    Vintage Abzug.- Leo Ascher (geboren 17. August 1880 in Wien, Österreich-Ungarn; gestorben 25. Februar 1942 in New York) war ein österreichischer Komponist und Jurist. Nachdem er in der Reichskristallnacht verhaftet wurde, emigrierte er nach seiner Entlassung noch im Jahr 1938 über Frankreich und England nach New York. Von 1905 bis 1932 komponierte er über 30 Operetten.- Regina (1875-1942) und Berthold Friedmann (1868-1937) betrieben seit 1910 das "Residenz-Atelier für moderne Photographie" im Residenzpalast in Wien I., Rotenturmstraße 20. In den 20er Jahren gehörte es zu den bekanntesten Wiener Ateliers für Gesellschafts-, Porträt- u. Modefotografie. Nach dem Tod von Berthold Friedmann im November 1937 führte Regina das Atelier als Witwenbetrieb gemeinsam mit Harry Jeidels unter dem Namen "Residenz-Atelier-Jeidels" bis März 1938 weiter. Friedmann u. Jeidels waren jüdischer Herkunft.
