Montréal, Imprimé par ordre de l'Assemblée Législative, imprimé par Louis Perrault, 1847, reliure demi-cuir à coins, plats marbrés, environ 35 X 23 cm, sans pagination (plus de 200 pages), inclus 6 cartes ou plans dépliants proposant des sites pour la construction d'un éventuel débarcadère (landing piers) soit près de Québec, à St-Michel, à Berthier, à l'Islet, à Point aux Origneaux et à Rivière-du-Loup. La reliure est en bon état, complète, propre et bien solide montrant un peu d'usure au cuir mais surtout aux arêtes des plats. Un impact dont j'ai été témoin a provoqué une déchirure irrégulière d'environ deux pouces dans la région de la tête du dos. J'ai pu cependant consolider cette déchirure si bien qu'elle ne devrait plus bouger. J'ai aussi protégé le cuir avec une crème protectrice. L'intérieur est en excellent état sans rien à signaler qui soit digne de mention. Les 6 cartes sont en excellent état, seule la première montre quelques rares faux-pli ici et là sans trop d'importance, les autres cartes sont sans reproche. Nous signalerons tout de même que les 6 cartes ayant été insérées toutes entre les mêmes cahiers, l'épaisseur de l'ensemble a provoqué une pression qui a légèrement ouvert la charnière qui relie ces deux cahiers mais les coutures des cahiers sont toujours bien solides. Un très bel exemplaire de cet ouvrage rare. Enfin ajoutons que bien que les textes soient en français les légendes des cartes sont, elles, en anglais.
