Paperback. Zustand: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the little-known area of torsional quartz vibrations and the many methods of exciting them. The author achieves this through meticulous experiments and utilizes various electrode mounting techniques. The result is a thorough exploration of the diverse patterns and frequencies that emerge during these torsional vibrations. These patterns provide valuable insights into the piezoelectric nature of quartz, demonstrating that the oscillations and the patterns they form are directly dependent on the piezoelectric effect. The book's detailed analysis of this phenomenon enriches our understanding of piezoelectricity, making it a valuable resource for scientists, researchers, and anyone interested in the fascinating relationship between electricity and mechanical vibrations. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
