Text block edges a bit dulled by a…ge, interior clean and bright beyond endpapers, which are a bit toned., typical of issue. Front hinge slightly starting but quite firm and intact. xii,235 pp., illus. w/ 80 color plates with guards, engraved by Hentschel Colourtype Process. 1st edition: June 1904. Endpapers mildly foxed/toned, i…nterior showing scattered foxing, generally light, in a few places ranging toward moderate (including title page and frontis. guard) proximate to color plates, otherwise clean interior, firm binding. Former owner's illustrated book plate mounted on front pastedown. Solid VG to VG+, Near Fine were it not for the foxing, which is a bit distracting but entirely cosmetic, otherwise exceptional.
