Dall was a major figure in the field of planetary photography between the 1940s and 1970s.Scarce.This is an invaluable amateur guide to astronomy edited by the beloved amateur astronomer Sir Patrick Alfred Caldwell-Moore. Moore was co-founder and president of the Society for Popular Astronomy and published a number of significant works on astronomy, however remains most famous for having been the permanent host of the BBC television series The Sky at Nightfrom 1957 until his death in 2012.
