Viele Fragen zu seinem Ursprung - vorspanisch oder kolonial - wurden jedoch noch nicht angemessen beantwortet. In dieser Arbeit behaupte ich, dass die verschwunde…ne Sisal-Hängematte, obwohl sie auf den ersten Blick nicht so aussieht, der Schlüssel ist, der viele Fragen im Zusammenhang mit dem Ursprung des Maya-Hauses beleuchtet. Die herangezogenen Dokumentationsquellen legen nahe, dass in der zweiten Hälfte des 17. Jahrhunderts dank der Sisalfaser die karibische Hängematte von der Maya-Bevölkerung in Yucatan hergestellt und verwendet wurde. Die Maya schliefen auf Betten aus Stöcken, als diese also von den Hängematten abgeworfen wurden, entstand ihr Haus - wie wir wissen - aus den radikalen Veränderungen, die sie vornahmen, um es an das neue Schlafobjekt anzupassen. Das Maya-Haus, das perfekt an die Hängematte, die Umgebung und die Bräuche angepasst war, blieb fast drei Jahrhunderte lang unverändert. In this wo…rk, I argue that, although at first glance it does not look like it, the disappeared sisal hammock is the key that sheds light on many questions related to the origin of the Maya house. The documentary sources consulted suggest that during the second half of the seventeenth century, thanks to the sisal fiber, the Caribbean hammock began to be manufactured and used by the Maya population of the Yucatan. The Maya slept on beds made of sticks, so when they were discarded by the hammocks, their house - as we know - was born from the radical changes they made to adapt it to the new sleeping object. The Mayan house, perfectly adapted to the hammock, the environment and the customs, remained unchanged for almost three centuries. It has become a true universal archetype. 68 pp. Englisch.

Dans ce travail, je soutiens que, bien qu'à première vue cela ne lui ressemble pas, le hamac de sisal disparu est la clé qui éclaire de nombreuses questions liées à l'origine de la maison maya. Les sources documentaires consultées suggèrent que, durant la seconde moitié du XVIIe siècle, grâce à la fibre de sisal, le hamac des Caraïbes a commencé à être fabriqué et utilisé par la population maya du Yucatan. Les Mayas dormaient sur des lits fait de batons, alors quand ils furent jetés par les hamacs, leur maison - comme nous le savons - est née des modifications radicales qu'ils ont apportées pour l'adapter au nouvel objet dormant. Las fuentes documentales consultadas sugieren que en la segunda mitad del siglo XVII, gracias a la fibra de sisal, la hamaca caribeña comenzó a ser fabricada y utilizada por la población maya de Yucatán. Los mayas dormían en camas hechas de palos, así que cuando les echaron las hamacas, su casa -como la conocemos- nació de los cambios radicales que hicieron para adaptarla al nuevo objeto para dormir. La casa maya, perfectamente adaptada a la hamaca, al entorno y a las costumbres, permaneció inalterada durante casi tres siglos.
