First edition limited to 1000 copies. The set is one of the first results of a project of the Ethnography of Indigenous Regions of Mexico in the New Millennium, which began at the Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) in 1999. It was conceived as a task Of collective research aimed at channeling, into a single project of common works, the obstacles that were developed in the INAH on different aspects related to the indigenous peoples and regions of Mexico. With this, it sought to generate a national research policy that would produce results of great scope and projection, while at the same time placing ethnographic studies again in the privileged place that corresponds to them in a multi-ethnic and multilingual nation such as Mexico and in which the problems of multiculturalism and, above all, of intercultural relations which have been insufficiently addressed. Condition: Points lightly rubbed, and some light edge wear else a near fine set.

In the six years 1844-49 he published 10 volumes of poems. Of himself he once said: "I am but in good and evil an essence of the national character."
