Since women are the most vulnerable group of many micronutrient deficiencies, they were target group for the nutrition education. Rural women 20-40 years were as subjects and totaly 90 number of respondents. Multimedia compact disc (MCD) was prepared to educate the respondents. MCD programme was prepared with emphasis on the importance of micronutrients, deficiency disorders, clinical symptoms, nutritional status, prevention of micronutrient deficiency and micronutrient rich foods. Nutrition education through MCD had a great impact on the respondents. Nutrition education had an influence over consumption of micronutrient rich foods in their daily diets.
