Hard Back. Zustand: Good. No Dust Jacket. Assumed First Edition. 163 Pages. Blacked-out library markings. The Short Stories of "Peter Fabrizius," now amounting to some three hundred all told, offer delightful reading material for classes in elementary German. It is with a particular pleasure that the editor presents the first American selection of these for classroom use. The very qualities that have brought these charming tales success-their simplicity and humor-make them suitable for students in first- or second-year German courses. Because of their simple style the stories need little annotation. In those few instances where a note would be helpful this has been supplied. Brief exercises are furnished for those who wish to use them and a vocabulary provided in which, so far as the alphabetical principle of arrangement permits, words are presented in related groups.
