Dust jacket rubbed and soiled, shallow chipping at spine head with 2.5cm loss at heel and short tear above center, purple ink staining at top of rear panel, surface abrasion lengthwise along spine folds with front panel as well as at both flap folds with the latter also having tears and shallow chipping at ends; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Dark green cloth with slight mottling, spine ends bumped with head additionally scuffed, front board and spine retain bright gilt stamping. Edges and endpapers toned; interior pages remain fairly clean. Short tear at top margin of pages 145-146. Binding is firm. A very good- copy in a good dust jacket. Features frontispiece, Preface by Francis A. Bigler, b/w photographs and illustrations throughout, list of American Kennel Club Bench Show Champions (apparently inclusive to 1942), Alphabetical Listing of Boxers Appearing in the Family Tree, and Index.
