This book survived the destruction of the Greenes' Clapham Common house in 1940, was salvaged by Graham and sent to Oxford, where Vivien and their children spent the war. This copy subsequently became a fan copy in 2009, having featured in Ann Gate's 2004 'Vivien & Graham Greene Centenary Catalogue: Books from [Vivien Greene's family home] Grove House, Iffley Turn, Oxford' for Waterfield's Antiquarian Booksellers: it is extra-illustrated with a clipped newspaper photograph of Vivien Greene and includes related ephemera pasted and laid in.…
