Early Edition. 190 pp + ads, frontispiece, gold, pink & black decorated cloth on strong blue background, a little worn but good for age, no date in book but 1904 ink presentation prize inscription at front, internally printed pattern eps, foxing…a page or so at front, pages browning round edges but overall a fairly good copy for its age. This title was reprinted around WWII by Pickering & Inglis but the early turn of the century Shaw original editions are now rare. The work is child fiction against a Christian background. Size: Crown. Frontispiece (illustrator). Presentation Copy. Antiquarian.
