Raccolta di testi antichi curata da Santi Bruscoli su quella celebre di Federico Ubaldini, stampata a Roma dal Grignani nel 1642. Due note manoscritte - in epoca coeva la prima, di poco successiva la seconda - al recto della prima carta di guardia: la prima specifica che il vero autore del "Trattato delle virtù morali" è Graziolo Bambaglioli, la seconda avverte che la prima nota è di pugno di Lorenzo Pignotti, al quale apparteneva il volume. Lorenzo Pignotti (Figline Valdarno, 9 agosto 1739 - Pisa, 5 agosto 1812) è stato un poeta e storico italiano, la cui fama è legata soprattutto all'attività di favolista. Ottimo esemplare.
