Small uncolored chart on stiff paper of the Sunda Strait between Java and Sumatra. fine condition. Unbacked Ownership signature on verso by M. J. Milliken (of Newburyport?) of the Barque Mary and Jane, 1853. Provides depth details for the strait and much of the western coast of Java and Eastern coast of Sumatra. Krakatoa Island…is clearly marked in the middle of the strait. Published by the British Hydrographic Office from Dutch surveys.
