Per the jacket flap, Mr. Caxton was the English world's first printer. Selections edited by Beverly Boyd, who also has inscribed and signed this book on the front free endpaper thus; "July 19, 1979/For Noelle with warm regards/Beverly Boyd". With a frontis image of a leaf from Boece. Back matter includes several pages of notes and reference material. --- In pale blue cloth covered boards with spine titling in black. Jacket titling superimposed over blurred image of the page depicted at frontis. --- With a little discoloration to covers, otherwise a firm, unmarked and sound copy.
