Somehow these pair members stay together in large foraging flocks and during gruelling migrations. The stimulus behind the book was sheer intrigue about the possible link between the partners' team work and reproductive performance and why this lifestyle varies across species" - from the 1995 Preface by Jeffrey Black. Book about Monogamy. Contributors include Frank Adriaensen, Russell P. Balda, T. R. Birkhead, Stuart Bradley, Sharmila Choudhury, Andre Desrochers, Andre A. Dhondt, Steven D. Emslie, Bruno J.
