Der Glaube an Gott und ART, HIV-Stigmatisierung und Diskriminierung, Personal- und ART-Mangel, Verzögerungen und wiederholte Krankenhausbesuche beeinflussten die Art und Weise, wie Patienten Dienstleistungen in Anspruch nahmen. Es wurde festgestellt, dass zwischen der Krankenhausversorgung von HIV-Patienten im Vereinigten Königreich und in Nigeria große Unterschiede bestehen, was die Verfügbarkeit von ART, die Personalstärke, die Anzahl der Patienten an den Kliniktagen und die wöchentlichen Klinikbesuche betrifft.
