Zustand: Good. Chromolith full page plates [8] by Helen S. Tatham (1848-1892) "by the sister of the author", with plates dated 1878. Quarto red cloth with black and gilt decoration on bevelled boards (some spotting, soiling/recased with spine repaired) 18pp printed on one side only except for the first text leaf which is printed on both sides. Final plate is mounted on the blank final page of the book followed only by the rear Endpapers. Endpapers were repaired at gutter when recased and inscription "Dorina Mary Carte from Frederic S. Donaldson 3rd Feb, 1880" [Dorina Mary Carte 1876-1969, daughter of Thomas Sampson Carte & Ellen Carte, Clerk in Holy Orders] to front free endpaper.
