Hardcover. Zustand: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. 88 pages, largely of questions posed to the reader on the Rules of Golf. Not dated but online searches indicate it was published in 1935. Written by Robert Browning who has other golf titles to his credit. Several advertisements. As can be seen from an accompanying illustration, this copy was presented "With the compliments of B W Francis Ltd . . .". (B W Francis was evidently "a prominent historic silversmiths and jewellers" in Reading, and was "well-known for creating solid silver sports and golf trophies". In fair (arguably fair+) condition - a little bumping to corners; small mark towards bottom right corner on front cover; some foxing on end papers; a previous owner has asterisked some questions, fortunately in pencil; a few odd marks internally; a little binding weakness showing at a couple of places; a few light marks on rear cover.
