The play premiered on February 2, running through February 4, 1969, at the Little Synagogue at 27 E 20th St., New York, along with Tony Preston's 1968, one-act play, "The Madonna of the Trash Cans." A secretary "whose hard, abrupt manner suggests the lethal tension of…an electric fence" refuses to allow a recently fired, disheveled young execute from seeing his former boss.
