Paperback. Zustand: Very Good. This is the second, revised, edition of Professor Burrows' casebook, offering undergraduate law students the ideal way to discover and understand contract law through reading highlights from the leading cases. It has been brought up to date, incorporating extracts from a number of leading cases decided since 2007. Designed to be used in conjunction with a contract law textbook, it covers the undergraduate contract law course in a series of clearly presented and carefully-structured chapters. The author provides an expert introduction to each topic and his succinct notes and questions seek to guide students to a proper understanding of the cases. The relevant statutes are also set out along with a principled analysis of them. In addition to cross-references to further discussion in the leading textbooks, an innovative feature is the summary of leading academic articles in each chapter. The book is designed not to overwhelm students by its length but covers all aspects of the law of contract most commonly found in the undergraduate curriculum. 'This is probably the best and most straightforward text, with very good commentary and overview of further reading" Ewan McGaughey, King's College, London 'An excellent book - clear and comprehensive" Solene Rowan, Queen's College, Cambridge 'An impressive casebook' Tony Rich, London Metropolitan University 'Excellent.the extra reading sections are very good and the treatment of cases is very good in addressing areas where students get confused.' paperback. Zustand: Good. Our good condition books are generally good for reading but not for gifting or collecting. They could have imperfections such as creasing, fanning, inscriptions, margin notes, yellowing, staining on edge or cover or pages, bumps, scuffs, etc etc (sometimes multiple of these). It's a wide category that encompasses anything that isn't almost-new down to anything that is slightly better than poor. We would NOT recommend gifting Good books - these should be considered reading copies. Our books are dispatched from a Yorkshire former cotton mill. We list via barcode/ISBN so please note that the images are stock images and may not be the exact copy you receive, furthermore the details about edition and year might not be accurate as many publishers reuse the same ISBN for multiple editions and as we simply scan a barcode or enter an ISBN we do not check the validity of the edition data when listing. If you're looking for an exact edition please don't order (at least not without checking with us first, although we don't always have time to check). We aim to dispatch prompty, the service used will depend on order value and book size. We can ship to most countries, see our shipping policies. Payment is via Abe only.…
