Chipping and shelf wear to edges and joints, especially at head of spine; minor creasing. A few page gutters are cracked, but binding is still fairly tight. Interior has occasional small stains. Uneven trim on fore-edge of text block. Includes a color frontispiece and sword design on endpapers. This book is about a retired Colonel telling the story of a brave Japanese soldier that he met while in command of Fort Huachuca in Arizona.
