Contemporary full calf leather binding but with spine leather perished leaving quires exposed lengthwise; front and rear boards very tenuously attached with some surface peeling to leather and worn edges. Toning and foxing throughout. Text block binding remains firm. Sold as is and needs to be re-backed if not re-cased. Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Small octavo (6 3/8 x 4 in). bound in modern full sheepskin; preliminary leaves with some minor losses, but overall still a nice copy with 18th century marginal notes.
