Shelfwear to DJ: moderate scuffing along edges and covers, tanned spine and edges of rear cover, some light chippng along edges. DJ in mylar. Light tanning along page edges. Includes cardboard slipcase: light scuffing and tanning along edges, a few small tears. Volume is in Very Good condition.

Illustrated throughout in color and black & white, including an original lithographic frontispiece by Marc Chagall. "Marc Chagall's "Biblical Message" provides a comprehensive view of the artist's series of 17 large oil paintings and 38 gouaches on Old Testament themes.
