He espoused a belief in the decline of civilization, allying himself with Friedrich Nietszche and Oswald Spengler. He amazingly escaped persecution after the war, and died in Paris in 1976. ; pages untrimmed, spine sunned, sllight edge wear to lower right of front cover, nick on spine label ; else VG. Book.
