Zustand: Very Good. Overall, very good condition. China and East Asian Strategic Dynamics: the Shaping of a New Regional Order, edited by Mingjiang Li and Dongmin Lee, examines how China's remarkable economic growth and its proactive diplomatic efforts in recent years have not only shored up its importance in global issues, but…also induced a transformation of the strategic dynamics in East Asia. The authors argue that major power relations in the region appear to be driven by some new momentum along with the changing international environment. The contributors of this edited volume are well-known scholars in their areas of specialty, and the book is divided into five parts. The first part discusses China's soft and hard power in East Asia. The second examines China and the strategic interactions between major powers; this particular section is devoted to discussion on the strategic responses of the major regional powers,Äïthe United States, Japan, Korea, India and ASEAN,Äïto China's rise. Part three focuses on China's strategic approach to East Asian regionalism. Of particular note are China's active leadership role in institution-building efforts, strategic calculations, and preference for an informal approach. The fourth section analyzes the Cross-Taiwan Strait relations and their impact on both China and East Asia. The final section of China and East Asian Strategic Dynamics addresses the issue of China and maritime order in East Asia. China and East Asian Strategic Dynamics: the Shaping of a New Regional Order, edited by Mingjiang Li and Dongmin Lee, is a pioneering work. Given that the rise of China is a prominent issue in politics and economics worldwide, this edited collection is essential for a wide audience of policy-makers, academics, and students alike.

Paperback. Zustand: new. Paperback. Under the interactive background of global value chain (GVC) restructuring and the dual-circulation development strategy, this study systematically investigates the dynamic adjustment mechanisms of multinational enterprises' sales networks and their impact pathways on value chain upgrading. Bu…ilding on the intersection of international trade theory and corporate strategic management, a multi-dimensional analytical framework incorporating spatial heterogeneity characteristics is constructed, breaking through the limitations of traditional static analyses on geographical boundaries and organizational forms. The research first identifies the driving factors of post-2008 global financial crisis sales network restructuring through a Difference-in-Differences (DID) model, innovatively introducing modular decomposition algorithms to deconstruct the topological features of value chains1618. By integrating customs databases, corporate supply chain data, and WTO policy texts into a hybrid dataset, empirical analysis using Vector Autoregression (VAR) models and structural breakpoint testing methods reveals dual trends of "regional agglomeration" and "digital platformization" in sales network restructuring amid Sino-US trade frictions.Key findings include: 1.The dual-circulation pattern drives enterprises to form a "core-periphery" nested sales network structure through institutional embedding and technology diffusion pathways.2.Flexible supply chain management efficiency exhibits industry heterogeneity, with manufacturing response speeds surpassing service industries by 23.6% (p3.Value chain upgrading demonstrates steepening "smile curve" characteristics, where digital technology adoption increases R&D-end added value by 19.8% while reducing manufacturing-end value by 7.2%.Theoretical contributions manifest in three aspects: Proposing a dynamic sales network adaptation model to enhance analytical dimensions of global production network theory. Developing a multi-granularity hesitant fuzzy linguistic evaluation system to address applicability limitations of traditional decision-making models in uncertain environments. Creating a GVC measurement toolkit based on complex network analysis, enabling multi-scale observations from micro-enterprise to macro-industrial levels.Practically, this study establishes a "Dual-Circulation Resilience Index" evaluation system for enterprises and provides policymakers with a strategic decision-support framework containing 12 core indicators, including institutional compatibility and technology absorption rates.
